Chief H.E. Jenkins

Chief H.E. Jenkins became the Chief of Police at the University of St. Thomas in Houston in June of 2017. Chief Jenkins has been a police officer for more than 15 years working with university police departments at both Abilene Christian as a Lieutenant and most recently at Concordia University as Chief of Police.

In his six years at Concordia, Chief Jenkins managed compliance with state and federal laws including a complete system overhaul to manage Clery Act compliance. He also helped to create and implement the university’s emergency management plan using FEMA guidelines and NIMS training.

Chief Jenkins received his Bachelor’s of Applied Studies in General Business and Master of Science in Organizational and Human Resource Development from Abilene Christian University.
